THE EASTERNMOST POTTER IN THE UNITED STATES: Elusive Creativity:
Shanna's discussion of creativity above rings a bell! Her "columns" drawing is truly wonderful so she can be confident that her creativity is still on a wonderful track.
Hopefully my creative spark will be come on strong in the new year. This is a great time of year to reflect on what HAS been accomplished in the past year and begin plans for the new year. Of course, it is always daunting to see the blank calendar with 12 months ahead of us this time of year and realize that the days ahead need to be productive. This is why I am going to try a kickstarter project in early 2014 since it will require 1. goals, 2. a time frame, 3. a fleshed out project outline, and most importantly for me 4. completion in an established time frame.
If you haven't had a chance to see Michael's kickstarter project, please take a look: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pleinairman/50-paintings-roosevelt-campobello-intl-park-50th-a?ref=live The project will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Roosevelt Campobello International Park. The existence of the Park and it's raison d'etre is the reason we bought our home on Campobello Island late in 2004 so it will be our 10th anniversary this year along with the Park's 50th! Enjoy making your New Year plans...

A New Year, A New Project
We were so thrilled with the response to Michael's kickstarter project: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pleinairman/50-paintings-roosevelt-campobello-intl-park-50th-a that I decided to do one to get me "kickstarted" on some new projects I have been thinking about recently! Between now and soon after the new year, I will be developing the project. It will involve new clothing, old quilts, hand printed kaleidoscopes, and other goodies.
Jack's Canyon Tank
The water of the tank and the oh so Sedona landscape makes a nice composition
A Granary at Lost Canyon
What happened to those elders? The mystery is wonderful.
I hope to instill a sense of mystery for myself as my project unfolds since I do not know where it will lead... That is the best part of a creative project in my mind. So stay tuned for the mystery of creation.
